Just stumbled upon this one…after 4 or more years!  Thought I’d share, it made me smile:

  1. after reading a bit through “Dennis, Janet, and Marianne,” I began to feel alienated from the narrator and his smug judgments. then i realized that i was reading some skillfully done satire. i ended up feeling empathy for all of the characters, including the narrator. we’re all human, all frail.
